Program description
When you schedule an appointment with Shumway Food Pantry and provide your mobile phone
number, you may opt in to receive a one-time automated text message reminder approximately
24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This program is offered solely by Shumway Food
Pantry, a program of My Christian Space / Heartland Media LLC, for the purpose of appointment
reminders. It is not used for marketing, promotions, or any purpose unrelated to your
scheduled appointment.
How to join
You opt in by voluntarily providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively agreeing to
receive a text reminder at the time you book an appointment on our website. Consent is not
required to use our food pantry services or to book an appointment — it is entirely optional.
Message frequency
You will receive up to one (1) text message per scheduled appointment. Message frequency
depends on how often you schedule appointments with us.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out
You can cancel text reminders at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number the message came
from. After you send "STOP," we will send you a one-time confirmation text, and you will no
longer receive appointment reminder texts from us. If you'd like to receive reminders again,
you can opt back in the next time you book an appointment.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers may include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless,
and other major US wireless carriers.
Privacy
Your phone number and any information associated with this text messaging program will
never be shared with third parties or affiliates, including any advertising or affiliate
marketing programs associated with this website, for marketing purposes. See our

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation in the text messaging
program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
