The Mason Food Pantry, located at 861 Washington Street in Mason Illinois, is held at the Mason Civic Center thanks to the generosity of the Mason Civic Center Board and the cooperation of the Mason Christian Church. Upon arrival, guests check in and wait their turn to shop in the Jesus Mart grocery store. When it is their turn to shop, the guest passes through the pantry where they are assisted by volunteers in making their selections from the available groceries. On a typical distribution day, the guests will receive about 100 pounds of groceries, personal hygiene products, and various household goods.
Our distributions are on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We ask that everyone fill in the form below to get an appointment time because we can only accomodate a limited number of guests at a time.
To schedule an appointment, enter your full name, choose a day from the dropdown list, choose a time from the dropdown list, verify that it is the day and time that you want, then hit the confirm appointment button.
You can volunteer to assist with the distribution by signing in on the form below. There are various opportunities from the physically handing the groceries to clients, administrative, & assisting in taking groceries to the client's car as well as stocking the shelves with food.
